had a great day today mark came to the shop in his Hughes 500 ,well he said sometime ago that he would take me up ,well today was the day . we took off well it was not for the fainthearted let me tell you ,it was into the hover then noise down and go the heli was fast we banked right and i mean banked and in a blink of an eye we were over the other side of winsford doing a 100 knots . it was one of the best days iv had for a long time .
got a few flites in today ,not bad as the weather was not great ,had some time flying my by plane as well that is until the wings folded up in flite ,not bad as i have had it for about 4 years . hopefully the weather will be ok for Tuesday night .will have to start work on the big 18ft by 18ft hut soon for the 8th .and think it can stay up for the winter , shelter from this rain
the time came last night when i and some others had to go night flying , got to the Field about 6.15 or so after picking Roy up and it was great to have the old team back down the field , it was just going dark by the time we had taken the stuff to the Pitts it was dark . so we went to it first the wing then the heli it was like i hadn't been away . it just takes you a few Min's for your eyes to come accustom to looking at the heli as you have not seen it that way for ( well all summer ). and ...

it looks like Chris p is up for a night fly this year (good on ya ) . well there where some members that i hoped to fly with this year but sadly they have left for pastures new i think but that was last year and that don't count ,but there are some members still up for a night fly so as they say as one door closes another opens .

well its been a week since i last posted ,so here is some more ,over the last few months i have started to get the night gear out again now the dark nights are coming ( think i said this before some where ) but anyway now that the club is finally back on track ,we have had some sticky moments over the last few weeks ,with one thing and an other ,(but anyway i wont go into it ) i can now start to enjoy myself again and get on with the flying .sometimes its hard running a club ,but ...
